First of all I’d like to see what a great archive you have been making here. As well as the large galleries of photos, the staff are friendly, helpful, and seem to genuinely about the website. The website also has very few advertisements which make me comfortable, as I feel the website is less ‘dangerous’ than others (although I hope the owners continue to upgrade the site’s security). Anyway, I thought I’d give some suggestions that I’ve been thinking of for a while.
Forums: These message boards are a good start, but are mostly focused at support requests. I think that a proper forum where users can discuss what’s on the site and off-topic things as well could make the website feel more like a community. I imagine there could be sections on models, galleries and videos, general off-topic chat, and perhaps it could even absorb the existing message board for support requests. It would also be useful (for the existing message board as well as the hypothetical forums) to be able to embed galleries and models into posts instead.of just having links.
Message board upgrade: The current software used in the message board is slow, particularly when creating new threads, which is why we get so many duplicate threads and posts. It really needs upgrading or at the very least optimisation.
Editor’s choice and member’s favourites: These are two ideas I have for the galleries on the site. The Editor’s Choice page would be a section where the site administrators would pick 5 or so galleries from the archive every week, which would be displayed on the Editor’s Choice page. The Members’ Favourites page would be similar. Every gallery on the site would get a ‘Nominate’ button and would go into a ‘pot’. Every week, 5 or so of the nominations would be randomly picked and displayed on the Members’ Favourites page. Alternatively, these two ideas could be part of an updated home page.
A true random feature: Currently, clicking on the Random page will always lead to the same model from what I have seen. It would be nice if it would be truly random and every time you open it, it would lead to different shoots.
More features for members: At the moment, there isn’t much to do when you’re logged in to the site. Having access to the message board is great, but other than that, it doesn’t seem like I’d miss out on much if I wasn’t logged in. Some extra features for those who are signed in would be appreciated (as long as it doesn’t remove features from guests).
Instagram models (and others): I think something wanted by a lot of people is for Instagram/social media models to be featured in the site. I’m not sure how the licensing would work, but it would probably be worth it – there are some truly beautiful women on there!
About section: It would be nice if there was an About section on the site. I’d quite like to know who the admins are (what they like, their favourite models, etc).
Categories: Categories are really not used enough on here. Most galleries have no categories attached to them. While it would have to be a long-term project, I’d like to finally see the admins adding categories to galleries that need them. It would be great if new galleries also had categories immediately.
Okay, next up are some suggestions that aren’t particularly realistic, or don’t really suit the site, but I thought I’d put them down anyway.
Your own shoots: If Elite Babes did its own modelling, it would give people another reason to use the site. I imagine there are people with subscribtions to Hegre or FemJoy that don’t see the need to use the site since they have it all anyway, in high quality, who would begin to use our site properly if we had content to call our own. The reason why I’ve put this in the unrealistic section is because of how much it costs to do professional photography and I’m not sure of the financial situation of the owners (although I suspect it has got better because of the pandemic). And then you’d have to get models and people who have photography skills. That said, I am a photographer ‘in training’, if you will, so if the time comes I’m sure I’ll try and help. ?
Sexual health: Porn sites (or erotic sites) have a bad reputation (at least where I live) because they are seen as forces of evil, so if Elite Babes provided something that is undeniably good for people, it would help itself and erotica in general. Many sites have started a sexual health section, where they give advice on sex, masturbation, and keeping yourself and others safe. Perhaps Elite Babes could do something like that?
‘Festival’: I am a train enthusiast and that’s why I was quite excited by Railfan Fest, a livestream run by the devopers of Train Simulator about the world of railways. It featured interviews and features from the developers themselves about Train Sim and real railway companies. Anyway, Elite Babes, should it have enough of a following, could run its own event about erotica, possibly featuring major figures in the industry – I wonder what Petter Hegre is up to these days? Obviously, this event would have to have a lot of marketing for it to be successful, and it would have to be a livestream for now. However, once the pandemic is over, I could easily see ‘Elite Festival’ or whatever it would be called as an event in the real world – but for that, the event would need considerable following.

1. Forums
I completely agree. We will do a major change on the boards in the next months and will add many subsections.
2. Message board upgrade
We are working actively on this. Those issues should be solved within the next week.
3. Favorites
I love the idea of the Editor’s Choice page! I will have each editor start to favorite new galleries they are adding, and then make a page that shows the most recent galleries added to favorites.
The same goes for the Members’ Favourites Page. We could show the most favorited galleries within the last 7 days.
4. Random page
When you are logged in, you should always get a new random gallery. Also, the random link on top of the gallery should lead to a fresh random gallery.
Only logged-out users get the same random gallery for 24h.
Please check again logged in, and let me know if it works or not.
5. More features for members
We are working on this, and we want to add new features regularly. Covid really slowed everything down for us..
6. Instagram models
That unfortunately is nearly impossible. No way we could any licensing. ?
7. About section
That’s something to think about.
8. Categories
Absolutely. We are already tagging all new galleries, but it’s an insane amount of work to do this for all the old galleries. We are thinking about categorizing each model, and then assign those categories to their galleries, but models change over time.. Ideally, this should be done by the community. For that, we have to add some sort of front end editing to the CMS for members, which is a little tricky to get right.
9. Your own shoots
Unfortunately, that is economically impossible. As of this month, elitebabes is the biggest erotic art site in the world, but the revenues could not support regular updates for professional photography. The free model just does not work there. This can only be done with a paysite model. On top of this, the shoots at hegre, femjoy, metart … are done by gifted professionals that have been doing this for decades. We would never come even close to their level of art. Our strength lays in archiving, curating, presenting and tagging the world of erotic art.
10. Sexual health
I dont think erotic art presents any danger whatsoever to anyone. I don’t see the need for a section like this.
11. Festival
That would be awesome, but for this to happen we still have to keep growing for a couple of years.
